Righto

Safe AI use on every Mac, without the friction.

See which AI tools your team uses, coach people in the moment, and get compliance evidence automatically.

AI governance for managed Macs

Righto is an AI governance tool for small and mid-sized businesses running managed Macs — fleets of up to 500 devices. One package deploys through any Apple MDM and gives IT and compliance teams a clear picture of how AI is actually being used at work.

It discovers which AI tools are in use on company Macs — AI apps, coding agents, local models, MCP servers and browser extensions — coaches employees on safe AI use at the moment it matters instead of simply blocking them, and turns that activity into evidence you can hand to an auditor, a regulator or an insurer.

Righto is installed by an organisation on the Macs it manages. It is distributed only through Apple MDM enrolment by the organisation that owns or manages those devices, and is not offered for use on personal or unmanaged Macs.

See

Discover the AI tools already running across your Mac fleet, so your policy reflects reality rather than guesswork.

  • AI apps and desktop assistants
  • Coding agents in developer workflows
  • Local models running on Apple Silicon
  • MCP servers connected to your tools
  • Browser extensions that send data to AI services

Coach

Friendly in-the-moment guidance that points people to approved tools, with short lessons, instead of blanket blocking.

  • Guidance at the moment of use, not weeks later
  • Points people to the tools you have approved
  • Short lessons that build everyday AI literacy
  • Designed to keep people working, not to get in the way

Prove

Evidence packs you can hand over, generated from what actually happened on your fleet.

  • EU AI Act Article 4 (AI literacy) evidence
  • Supporting evidence for SOC 2 programmes
  • Supporting evidence for ISO 42001 programmes
  • Documentation for cyber-insurance applications

Righto gives you evidence and helps you put measures in place. It does not, on its own, make your organisation compliant — the obligations and the decisions stay yours.

Built for IT teams

Righto is designed to land in an existing managed-Mac environment without a new agent to babysit, a new console to learn, or a privacy conversation you have to win twice.

Deploys in minutes

One package, pushed through the Apple MDM you already run. No separate infrastructure to stand up.

Organisation-managed Macs only

Righto is deployed by an organisation onto the Macs it manages, through MDM enrolment. It is not for personal or unmanaged devices.

Metadata by default, not file contents

Righto records which AI tools are in use and how — not the contents of the documents, prompts or code your team is working on.

Transparent to employees

People on a managed Mac can see exactly what Righto collects. Governance works better when it isn't a secret.

Short FAQ

Who is it for?

Small and mid-sized businesses running managed Macs — typically up to 500 devices — where IT, security or compliance needs to know how AI is being used at work. It's built for the team that administers the fleet, and for whoever has to answer questions about AI from an auditor, a board or an insurer.

Which MDMs work?

Righto ships as a single package that deploys through any Apple MDM, including Jamf, Kandji / Iru, Mosyle, Microsoft Intune and Addigy. If you manage Macs with something else that supports standard Apple MDM deployment, it will work there too.

What data does it collect?

By default Righto collects metadata about AI tool use — which AI apps, coding agents, local models, MCP servers and browser extensions are present and being used on an organisation-managed Mac — not the contents of the files, prompts or code involved.

Righto only runs on Macs an organisation has enrolled through its own MDM, and employees on those Macs can see exactly what it collects. The Righto privacy policy sets out what it collects and what it deliberately does not.

When does it launch?

Righto is in development and we haven't set a public launch date. Join the waitlist above and we'll let you know as it opens up.
